SPL Tracer is a utility for loading a picture file of a frequency response and automating the process of tracing over that response to create a FRD (Frequency Response Data) file for later import into other Acoustic Design Programs.

SPL Viewer is a utility for extending or reducing the frequency range or re-interpolating the number and spacing of the samples in a FRD (Frequency Response Data) file as a conversion and normalization process for later import into other Acoustic Design Programs.

 The Single file Installation is 948 K for previous installations only.
 
The Multi file Installation is 3 files of 700 K each for new installations.
 See Setup.Txt file for notes and instructions.

The Spl Tool setup program installs the SplTrace and SplView programs. There are two installation options available for the Spl tools: a full setup and a minimum setup. 

The minimum setup option is designed for users that already have the following DLL files installed in the C:\Windows\System or C:\Winnt\System32 folder:
COMCAT.DLL  STDOLE2.DLL  ASYCFILT.DLL  OLEPRO32.DLL  OLEAUT32.DLL  MSVBVM60.DLL

If your system is missing any of the above DLL files, then the full Spl Tool setup is required.
