The Passive Crossover Design Calculator is textbook component calculator used for both quick estimation and final design of passive crossovers. It has separate pages for two-way crossovers that include first, second, and third order parallel and series crossovers, fourth and sixth order parallel networks and Three-way first through fourth order crossovers including bandpass gain. There is a page that includes Zobels, L-pads, an offset calculator, an inductor designer, and more.  In addition there are pages for various contour circuits, notch filters, and impedance compensation circuits that work with FRD/ZDA files input, where the compensation can be interactively tuned and the correction and corrected response/impedance re-output in FRD/ZDA File format. Altogether there are 40 different “calculators” that will assist you in your passive crossover design. Five of these design calculators possess input and output capability as mentioned. In addition to this new feature, the new 2.0 version also includes a user’s manual in the form of 250 pop-up help text boxes throughout, and pop-up circuit schematic drawings for all circuits. While the Passive Crossover Design Calculator will be especially useful for beginners to understand crossovers better, it has some features that will be beneficial to even more experienced designers. This file has been tested on both Excel 97 and 2000 and works well with either.
