The Parametric EQ (BFD) is a interactive preview tool
for equalizing subwoofers and listening room low end response. Patterned after
and conceived to use with the Behringer Feedback Destroyer, this program
resembles the operation of a standard Parametric Type Equalizer. Consisting of
12 parallel boost/cut gain controls with both Course and Fine Frequency band
centers, each of these control sets also has a Q Control to set the bandwidth of
each channel. The Parametric EQ program inputs FRD files to perform the
Equalization Simulation on. It graphs and outputs both the applicable Correction
and the fully Corrected Magnitude and
Phase Response in FRD file format as a template for other acoustic design
programs, and as a guide to using Equalization in predicted and measured Rooms
and with Simulated Box modeled responses.
